LINCOLN, IL — Lincolnland Technical Education Center
(LTEC) is proud to announce Clair Carter as the April Student of the
Month, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lincoln. Clair, a dedicated
student in the Cosmetology program, has earned this honor through
her outstanding attitude, skill, and dedication to her craft.
Clair is a senior at Williamsville High School and the daughter of
Rhonda and Chris Carter. She plans to continue her journey in the
cosmetology field by attending Capital Area School of Cosmetology
after graduation. Her passion for the beauty industry shines through
in everything she does, from the classroom to her future goals.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Clair currently works at Kids
Place in Sherman, where she is part of the after-school program
staff. She is also an active member of the Radiate Dance Company,
showcasing her creativity and dedication both in and out of school.
Clair says what she enjoys most about her cosmetology class is the
people and the engaging activities. “The people make it fun,” she
shared, a testament to the positive learning environment and her
enthusiasm for the field.
Her teacher, Danielle Meister, nominated Clair for the Student of
the Month honor. “Clair’s skill and attitude in the classroom are
outstanding,” Meister said. “She’s always willing to help others,
and her kindness and talent set her apart. I have no doubt she will
