Lincoln
Economic Advancement & Development, Inc. (LEAD) is thrilled to host
an Open House for Lincoln businesses and residents. This is a unique
opportunity to learn about free information technology training
through Illinois Central College’s IT Workforce Accelerator. IT
skills are a pathway toward significantly enhancing professional
advancement possibilities and career prospects.
Among the many different classes offered through this
accelerator are classes pertaining to Cyber Security. Cyber Security
knowledge is important now more than ever. All businesses need to
safeguard their business in an increasingly connected world. What
better way to do this than to have a cyber security expert on staff?
The IT Workforce Accelerator allows these businesses to upskill an
existing employee at absolutely no cost.
Between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm on November 12, 2024, at
The Rec, 1400 Primm Road, the program administrators will be
available for an open house to share information regarding the
available classes. The best part? All these courses are available at
no cost to those who work or reside within 45 miles of Peoria.
