Obituary
Norma J. Shehorn, 87, of Chatham
(formerly of Mt. Pulaski), passed away on April 24,
2025, at the Villas of Holly Brook in Chatham.
Norma was born on April 29, 1937, in Logan County,
IL., the daughter of Irvin Earl and Wardie Roselda
(Coates) Schroth. She married Kenneth D. Shehorn on
October 4, 1992, in Mt. Pulaski. He preceded her in
death on March 28, 1995.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Paige Anne
Reynolds of Springfield; grandson, Cory Hudelson of
Chatham; 2 great-grandchildren, Marlee and Bentley;
her sister, Sonia (Paul) Heft of Kenney, IL;
step-children, Clint (Lisa) Shehorn of Mt. Pulaski,
Larry Shehorn of Alabama, and Sherie (Scott) Farris
of Lebanon, IL.; 7 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who
were special in her life.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Kenneth; son, Kris Hudelson; 2 brothers, Charles
Schroth and Earl Dean Schroth; and 2 sisters,
Elizabeth Hawk and Carol Alsup.

Norma enjoyed quilting, sewing,
reading, listening to music, watching the Chicago
Cubs, genealogy and spending time with her family.
She was appreciative for the Shehorn family who
accepted her into their family.
Graveside Services for Norma will be
held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Mt.
Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Norma’s
memory to the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski
has been entrusted with the arrangements.
