wellness and prevention discussions in Mt. Pulaski this weekend

Kimberly
Martin, Nurse Practitioner and owner of MTM Wellness will offer a
wellness and prevention discussion at the Mt. Pulaski Chirstian
Church Family Life Center on Saturday November 9th at 9 a.m. and
Sunday November 10th at noon.
The family center is located at 114 N. Lafayette Street in Mt.
Pulaski. Guests should enter the door directly across from the post
office on Lafayette.
Martin is a nurse practitioner whose independent business MTM
Wellness offers a name with a dual meaning. The name first stands
for “More than Medicine,” but also stands for the name of her son,
the late Mikah Thomas Martin.

The discussion topics will
include “Why American has soaring rates of Chronic Disease, even
in our children.” “Awareness.” “Root Cause.” “Why food matters.”
“Food is medicine.” and “Where to start your health journey.”
Meetings will be hosted in the kitchen dining area at
the life center, with childcare available on Sunday.
Martin is currently working to create a not-for-profit status and
will be accepting a suggested donation at both sessions.
